Remixes are back in?
The title might seem a bit confusing to some of you. Why is this guy talking about remixes? When did Shonen Punk start having music to remix? – is probably what you thinking or yelling at the screen. But worry not jack-napes! For I do not talk about remixes of the musical kind.
Confused even more so? sure you’re no screaming out “estoy confusado!” in your best white-washed mexican accent you can muster. But relax, my dear, dear udder suckers.♥
The remix that I am indeed talking about is none other than the remix that appeared in 2010 and went away so fast you probably missed it. It was like an afterimage on a white wall. But after and contemplating the future of Shonen punk, as we’ve been around a long time now, for a webcomic. since 2004! that’s umm… EIGHT years! 2014 we’ll be Ten, wouldn’t it be nice to go to this site and say, “wow I’ve been reading this stupid crap for 10 years! what is wrong with me? and how can i NOT fix it!” ;D
So the decision was to carry forward with the idea behind this short lived relaunch I threw at you all back at the end of 2010.
I present to you the return of
This was really an interesting reboot. I grabbed abunch of charcters form throught all of the Shonen punk timelines, spin-offs and what not and threw them into all new scenarios. This is an all new coniuity, so all previous ties are broken. In fact this is like my ultimates or New 52. where you know everyone but its all new and all diffrent!
The first eight pages were done using a mouse and the pen tool in photoshop over rough pencils, so uo till then it’s all kinda not my usual style. Once we catch up I’ll try to post three times a week still, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as always Shonen Punk can be found only at http://shonen-punk.com SP!R starts monday May 21st 2012.
So onwards! towards victory!
